Speakers:
Detlef Braun Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt GmbH Detlef Braun will speak about trends in the aftermarket, the programme of events at Automechanika Frankfurt and the focal-point subjects of ‘Truck Competence’ and basic and advanced training.
Prof Georg Spöttl ITB, Bremen University Prof Spöttl will present a study entitled ‘Sought – found! Recruiting trainees in the automobile trade’ and discuss whether workshops really have to roll out the red carpet for young people today or whether the worries are exaggerated and the real need is to question traditional recruitment practices and to present the company as a more attractive employer, especially to high-powered youngsters.
Jürgen Karpinski President of the Federation of the German Motor Vehicle Trade (Zentralverband Deutsches Kraftfahrzeuggewerbe – ZDK) In addition to reviewing the current economic situation in the automobile trade, ZDK President Jürgen Karpinski will discuss the growing significance of the internet for the motor-vehicle business and the subject of e-mobility.
